FROM OUR STAFFING NOTEBOOK
  • We recently posted an opening for an order selector that had stated in the ad: If you have the listed qualifications, do not send a resume, just come to the office. We received over 500 resumes!
  • We put a cup holder with pencils in our application room last week and told everyone to use only pen. (3 cups full of pens) 25% used the pencils.
  • Some applicants think that a stable job history is staying for at least 3 months at each employer.
  • Number one reason for changing jobs was: better opportunity. We guess unemployment was that opportunity.
  • We have had the same unemployed person call us once a week for 2 years asking us: do you have anything? By the way, he turned us down when we offered him work the first time he called.
  • An applicant turned down a job because he stated that he could not afford to get to the office to fill out the tax paperwork.
Do you have time to deal with these candidates before finding the right fit for your job? You need to run your business, not spend hours pouring through resumes and checking references. Our business is finding the perfect employee for you. We will prescreen and interview BEFORE they come to you. Contact us today for a no obligation appointment. Need temporary help? We have a number of qualified employees looking for work. This is a great time to 'upgrade' your staff.
